ALEXA RHYND Alexa Rhynd's art practice is driven by a passion for making and is a response to the digital age. They work primarily with handmade textiles as a means of subverting the growing reliance on technology in everyday life. Through textile explorations, Rhynd cultivates dialogue between the binary language inherent to fibre practices, as well as the digital realm.
ANALÓPEZ VÁZQUEZ Ana López Vázquez (AnaVito) was born in Puerto Rico and currently divides her time between Montréal and New York City. AnaVito's art reflects the strength and frailty of the human experience, privileging material experiments and techniques. AnaVito received a BA from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón in 2002, and a Juris Doctor from Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico in 2010. ANA TEODORESCU Ana Teodorescu is a painter drawing from a multitude of inspirations. Music, dance, and literature, as well as surrealist and symbolist movements, influence her work immensely. After completing several courses in drawing and painting, she explored Ceramics at the Visual Art Centre and Centre de Céramique Bonsecours in Montréal. There, Teodorescu discovered Eadweard Muybridge, prompting the introduction of motion into her work. ARIANNA GARCIA-FIALDINI Born in Mexico City, Arianna Garcia-Fialdini graduated with a BFA in Painting and Drawing in 2005 and received a second BFA in Art Education, both from Concordia University (Montréal, Canada). In 2012, Garcia-Fialdini completed their MFA studies at the Burren College of Art, affiliated with the National University of Ireland Galway. Garcia-Fialdini has exhibited internationally in Mexico, North America and Europe. Currently, Garcia-Fialdini is a Doctoral Candidate in the Department of Art Education at Concordia University.
DENYSE DAOUST Denyse Daoust is a multidisciplinary artist currently specialising in fibres and material practices... Mon exploration artistique est intrinsèquement liée à une démarche intérieure. Constamment innover, varier les médiums et rester en apprentissage. Mon espace d’inspiration : l’intuition. Ce lieu où le contact est authentique. Mes outils de prédilection le pinceau, le crayon et l’aiguille. L’aiguille… pour faire un pied de nez à tous ses détracteurs. Ma cause : enrayer toute violence faite aux filles et aux femmes. En inspirant peut-être d’autre à en faire de même.
JEAN-PHILIPPE POIRIER Growing up in Verchères, Jean-Philippe Poirier studied sequential art before studying Visual Arts at Cegep du Vieux-Montréal, and then Graphic Design at Collège Salette. Poirier is in his 3rd year in the Art Education - Visual Art program at Concordia University. Poirier's work was included in the Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series contest as well as several expos with Art Cible. He also participated in the summer residency of The VaV Gallery at Concordia University.
MARIA ELENA MARTIRE Maria Elena Martire (she/they) is an eclectic, non-binary artist from amiskwacîwâskahikan (Edmonton, AB). Their practice includes writing, documenting, videography, photography, painting, drawing, collage, and music compositions to tell stories and narrate emotions. Martire fuses seemingly separate art forms within various projects and they are currently focusing on their new found watercolour obsession, experimenting with the abstract and the emotive.
MARIANNE LEFEBVRE-CAMPBELL Marianne Lefebvre-Campbell is an artist living between Montréal and Rimouski, QC. She plays with the representation of reality to create narratives where fragility and humour emerge. Lefebvre-Campbell creates frail, figurative and incongruous forms, making space for possibilities and magic. She is currently pursuing a BFA in Ceramics at Concordia University.

RIESBRI Riesbri is currently pursuing her BFA in Sculpture at Concordia University, while also serving as the outreach coordinator for A.U.S. (Association Undergraduate Sculpture). Her practice is mainly sculptural but also includes mixed media and painting. A solo exhibition of Riesbri's artwork was held at the Passerelle du Musée des maîtres et artisans du Québec. SHENG HUI JIN Of South Korean origin, Sheng Hui Jin obtained her BCom from Concordia University's John Molson School of Business, and is now pursuing a BFA in Painting and Drawing, also at Concordia. Jin defines her art practice as not subscribing to mainstream styles of art.
ZAHRA HOSSEINI Zahra Hosseini is an Iranian printmaker. She started her artistic career with figurative painting and printmaking, then continued with installation and performance art.
